For those who have a birthday in October or are fans of Opal jewelry will love this ring. FineJewelers has labeled this ring as an engagement ring, but I think anyone who is a fan of Opal and/or has an October birthday would love to have this ring. This ring would be great as a right hand ring at only $159. I have not seen a ring like this one before, it is a very unique setting. A heart shaped lab created Opal is a rare find and is what makes this ring very special to me. Even though it is a lab created Opal and accented with two White Topaz set in 14k White Gold Plated Silver this ring looks very expensive. I am not a fan of plated metals, but sometimes you have to make some sacrifices to get a beautiful ring. I do like lab created gems and the use of other gems to imitate others as long it is clearly stated, so that you know what you are buying. If this ring was made of a real Opal, two diamond accents and set in white gold you would find yourself in a whole other price class. iconThis is a unique and beautiful ring for anyone who loves rubies or their birthday is in July. July’s birthstone is the ruby. You can find a ruby in all price ranges ranging from the most expensive and highly sought after Burmese Ruby to the cheaper and more affordable Synthetic and Lab grown rubies. I really like this ring because the rubies are heart shape, I have rarely seen heart shaped rubies and then three in one ring. The heart shape has gained in popularity in the last years and is found more and more in different gemstones, but is still a pretty rare cut for stones. The ring also has two diamonds, although I dread even mentioning them they are .02 in total carat weight and their clarity are on the low end of the scale at I1-I2 but because they are so small you won’t notice. Back to the good stuff, the three heart shaped rubies are set in 10K white gold and the ring has a very classic look. The band is 2mm wide which makes it a very sturdy and comfortable fit. 14K White Gold 1.20 CTW Sapphire & Diamond Ring

iconiconI ordered this ring as well as two others from AlleJewelry.com to preview before writing reviews of their jewelry. I like to make sure that I have a general idea over the kinds of jewelry sold by a site before reviewing them. This ring has a very delicate and feminine feel to it. That can be both good and bad at the same time, because of this it is very beautiful although I fear long term wearing could result in damage. This ring is very delicate and unique. This is certainly a special occasion ring, not something you wear everyday (unless you have the luxury of doing nothing all day long). The stepping of the sapphires lets lots of light through to give them some sparkle, even though they are quite dark sapphires. The .02 TCW diamonds on opposing sides of the sapphires are hardly worth mentioning as you can imagine they are quite small and have very little sparkle. I would replace them with slightly larger and higher quality stones which in my opinion would make this ring a must have to my collection.
