For those who have a birthday in October or are fans of Opal jewelry will love this ring. FineJewelers has labeled this ring as an engagement ring, but I think anyone who is a fan of Opal and/or has an October birthday would love to have this ring. This ring would be great as a right hand ring at only $159. I have not seen a ring like this one before, it is a very unique setting. A heart shaped lab created Opal is a rare find and is what makes this ring very special to me. Even though it is a lab created Opal and accented with two White Topaz set in 14k White Gold Plated Silver this ring looks very expensive. I am not a fan of plated metals, but sometimes you have to make some sacrifices to get a beautiful ring. I do like lab created gems and the use of other gems to imitate others as long it is clearly stated, so that you know what you are buying. If this ring was made of a real Opal, two diamond accents and set in white gold you would find yourself in a whole other price class. I love this kind of ring it is bold, rose gold(plated) and of coarse you can’t forget Tiffany inspired. I think this kind of ring even though it is quite a massive ring is great to wear anytime. The Hot Diamonds 3 keys charm and Butterfly charm came with a necklace. I like butterfly design jewelry, although I am picky on the shape of the butterfly. It needs to be a bit soft and round like this one is, the more triangle-shaped winged ones look at bit hard to me. And when I think of butterflies you think of soft, light and delicate. This piece is very unique as it has one solid and one that is just an outline. Also, one is gold plated and the other is silver, which I think makes a great combination. Neither dominates the other color wise and in combination with the 3 keys its a great blend of silver and gold. You could use these charms on a bracelet, anklet, or maybe even on a key chain? Don’t get me wrong I think they have wonderful items. But then one day on a flight I flipped through the in-flight magazine and saw this charm with the butterfly charm and a necklace and thought I would buy it and see. I also at the time was reading the book, The One Minute Millionaire: The Enlightened Way to Wealth, so this had a great influence on me buying the piece because the book was talking about your keys to success. So, I got the piece to remind me of them and of course to see what kind of jewelry Hot Diamonds has. I really love the piece and wear it a lot, when I had first purchased it I wore it night and day for about a month straight, I still wear it just not all the time! It sure has stood the test of time, I give it a gentle wash with some jewelry cleaner and it sparkles like new. No complaints from me about silver jewelry, at least not about Hot Diamonds’.
